A client record in Kiralytics holds:
- Name (required)
- Email (optional, but adds the email to share-link forwarding)
- Phone (optional)
- SSM (optional — Malaysian company registration number)
- Address (optional, multi-line)
- Archived flag — soft-hide without deleting
That's it. We don't model industries, ownership chains, or stages. Those exist in CRMs; Kiralytics is the part of your business that comes after the CRM.
Where client data shows up
- Invoices — auto-fill the "Bill to" block on every new invoice.
- Quotes — same idea, for the "Quote for" block.
- Projects — projects are scoped to a client, so a project's name surfaces in the client's detail page.
Archiving vs. deleting
When you archive a client, invoices and quotes tied to them are kept (soft-archive flag on the client record only). History is preserved.
If you actually need to delete, that's a separate action and is non-destructive in two ways: the row is soft-deleted (so it can be restored within 30 days), and no cascade removes dependent invoices or quotes. We never destroy historical records.
