This page walks through your first end-to-end invoice. Most people finish in under five minutes.
Before you start
You need:
- A Kiralytics account (any sign-in method works)
- A bank account or PayPal where clients can pay you
- A recipient — that's your first client
If you don't have one yet, you can still complete the walkthrough by creating a "Test Client" entry.
Step 1 — Settings
Open Settings and fill in:
- Business name — what appears on the invoice header. We default to "Kiralytics" so you can change it once here and never again.
- SSM registration number — optional but it appears at the bottom of every invoice.
- Business address — appears in the PDF under your name.
- Bank holder name — appears in the "how to pay" section.
Don't worry about getting this perfect. You can come back anytime.
Step 2 — Create a client
Open Clients → New Client. Required: a name. Everything else (address, email, SSM) is optional.
A client record is just a reusable envelope for invoices, quotes, and projects. Adding a client once means you don't retype their email every time.
Step 3 — Create the invoice
Open Invoices → New Invoice and pick your client. Add line items by typing the description and the amount; we'll compute the totals live.
You'll see something like:
Number will be auto-generated as KLT-YYYYMM-NNNN.
Save it. Kiralytics assigns the next available number for the current month, atomically — so even if you create two invoices at the same instant, you'll never get a duplicate.
Step 4 — Send it
Each invoice has a public share link at kiralytics.com/p/<token>. Click Share, copy the link,
and paste it into WhatsApp / email. The link is a self-contained preview; no login required for the
client.
If you want a PDF, click Download PDF — same content, neatly laid out for printing or forwarding.
What you just did
In five minutes you set up a workspace, defined your billing identity, created a client, and sent an invoice with a self-numbered, sharable, printable reference. The next invoice is faster because the client record already exists.
